| Tammy S. Cantrell, CSC,
OIC:C, is currently the Coordinator of the B.S. Interpreter Training
Program at the University of Louisville satellite program through Eastern
Kentucky University. She has been the coordinator of programs in Guam and
Connecticut. She received her Oral Interpreting Certificate when oral
interpreting was in its infancy, and served as an evaluator for the oral
certification evaluation. She has been providing training in Oral
Interpreting now for over 15 years and feels Oral Interpreting skills are
useful in serving the communication needs of a variety of persons in the
deaf and hard-of-hearing community. |
